To create the poster I used a combination of different techniques and effects.

I used many of the 27 Blending Modes on Photoshop. For the Zombie image I used Luminosity which makes the image lighter than it initially is. I then used the soft light blending mode for shadows which lightens the top layer. I duplicated the image of the skulls on the ground 5 times so it gives an impression that many people were murdered there by the zombies and other creatures. I also used the soft light blending mode for the forest to give it a dark mysterious feel. I duplicated the spooky trees so there’s two instead of one to also give it a spooky feel. I used the screen blending mode for the Zombie Girl.
